DJ Shafty has been DJing for 8 years, starting off as a Garage and Grime DJ after attending a course run by youth organisation Bigga Fish. After 4 years he moved into House and Funky House.

He formed Dirty Movements with a group of friends performing at venues across London but DJ Shafty started to lose the passion for DJing, after 2 years, until being introdued to to Funky House. He then released his first mix CD, “Shafty Funk” and started getting bookings for events.

His name still wasn’t big, so he released a mix CD called “Shaftology”, this is now in its 6th Edition.

DJ Shafty is very versatile, successful in engaging all types of crowds; those that love Soulful, and those that prefer Deep House
